Dinner at Grandma Tallie’s

As I mentioned in my 2014 recap, I got to visit my grandma in Rhode Island twice this past year. She lives in a super cute, very old house (that I have a great picture of, but won’t post it here out of respect for her privacy – so here’s a picture from a walk we took instead).

My dad and I went to visit her the first time, and we brought a bunch of food from Dean & Deluca (we drove out from NYC).

Our vegetarian (for my grandma, she’s a serious animal-lover) dinner spread was amazing: bean salad, fingerling potatoes, jarred artichoke hearts, bread, cheese, sesame noodles, cauliflower with pomegranate, sweet potato chips and two types of hummus. Yum!

For dessert, my dad went all out: cherry clafouti and champagne! It was the perfect takeout / dine in dinner and dessert.
